With over 890 species of birds recorded, Costa Rica is one of the world's premier birding destinations. It's also home to some of the most impressive conservation efforts in the Americas. Our unique itinerary blends superb tropical birding with a look at some of the groups and institutions that are working to preserve the biodiversity the birds depend on.  This year's trip is a fundraiser for Alachua Audubon.
